Q. My alarm keypad is beeping, how do I silence it?



A. For Concord alarm systems, Press "STATUS"button and see what the problem is. You can silence the beeping for 12 hours by pressing "DISARM" and entering your code.



Q. Am i required to maintain a telephone line for the alarm system?



A. Older alarm systems still require a landline telephone connection. Newer systems use Cellular communications with an internet backup.



Q. Can I shutdown the alarm system during extended power failures?



A. With all of our older Legacy systems you can shutdown power easily. Go to the control panel (usually near your circuit breaker panels), open the panel door, look above the system battery for a green light, next to this green light is a slide switch, move this switch to the OFF position. When power is restored move this switch back to normal and system will power up again.




Q. my date and time are wrong on the keypad display, how do i change these?



A. Follow these instructions:

1. Press 9, then enter your master code

2. Press B until time and date are shown, then press #

3. Enter time in 24 hr. format, then press #

4. Press B unitl date is shown, press #

5. Enter date in xx/xx/xx format, then press #

6. Press * 00 # to exit programming.
